Importing completed questionnaires
Turn past work into an answer library that fills future questionnaires
The highest-leverage thing you can do
Every questionnaire your organization has ever completed is a goldmine. Import them and RFI Know will reuse those exact answers whenever a similar question appears — which, in this industry, is constantly. Security questionnaires, RFIs, RFPs, and vendor assessments ask overwhelmingly overlapping questions.
How to import
- Go to Upload and choose Completed questionnaire.
- Upload the file (.xlsx, .xls, or .csv — up to 25MB).
- Map both the question column and the answer column.
- Process. Each question-and-answer pair is saved to your knowledge base and indexed for matching.
Tips
- Import your most recent completions first — they reflect your current posture and phrasing.
- Skip questionnaires with outdated answers (old policies, tools you no longer use), or import them and clean up the pairs afterward in the Knowledge Base.
- The more you import, the higher Auto-fill's hit rate on the next new questionnaire.
