    Roles and permissions

What owners, admins, and members can each do

    The three roles

Owner — full control. Owners are the only people who can manage billing and the subscription, and they can do everything admins and members can. Every organization needs at least one; consider a second for business continuity.

Admin — everything except billing. Admins can invite and manage team members, manage the knowledge base (documents and the answer library), and work on questionnaires. They cannot see or change billing, payment methods, or the subscription.

Member — the working role. Members answer questionnaires, use all AI features, and view the knowledge base. They can't invite users or manage organization settings.

    Why billing is owner-only

Restricting billing to owners prevents anyone else from changing payment methods, upgrading, or canceling — a deliberate financial control. If your only owner is leaving the company, promote a second owner first, or contact support for a verified ownership transfer.

    Choosing roles

    • Keep the owner role to one or two people who genuinely need billing access.
    • Use admin for team leads who manage people or curate the knowledge base.
    • Everyone else is a member — it covers the full day-to-day workflow.
